Collecting Books - Katie Cleminson

Ever wished you had the chance to buy a Beatrix Potter book before she became a Worldwide phenomenon? Well a remarkable début illustrator called Katie Cleminson has created a brilliant new book called Box of Tricks. This book was showcased early in 2009 at the Bologna Book Fair and her RHCB acting rights director Maeve Banham said “We are particularly excited about this year’s Bologna in light of the début illustrators whose work we are bringing to the fair for the first time, who we are confident will become established names.” Since then the book has been published in the UK and a second book has just been scheduled for May 2010. So already Katie is proving to be a hit in the childrens book scene.

If you enjoy collecting books and you consider yourself a book collector or modern signed first editions then read on..... Apparently author GP Taylor is doing a book signing on the 19th September at WH Smiths in Scarborough. The first 10 doodled copies are currently being sold on our website for £100 of his first adult title Rosie: A Note to Self. No doubt the value will triple in the space of a few months as these books will be incredibly rare

So if you attend you will be able to pick up something incredibly sought after. I think the RRP is £8.99.
